A CHUNK OF THE CHESTER ESTATE Part of the vast estate holding of a serious stamp hoarder - an inveterate buyer at Auctions, Stamp Fairs etc. who never seemed to get round to sorting his many acquisitions. Simply split down into manageable (usually carton size) lots, and estimated for a quick sale. This carton contains BRITISH COMMONWEALTH (mostly British Africa) on old manilla stockleaves in four binders. QV through to about 1970 mint and used including much KGV/KGVI - can see useful sections of Ascension, Basutoland, Bechuanaland, Gambia, Gold Coast/Ghana, Nigerias, Nyasaland, Rhodesias, St Helena, etc.; plus Palestine, St Christopher, St Kitts-Nevis, and a few others. See scans for a flavour. (guess 5,000 - 6,000 stamps) For more images, please visit https://www.sandafayre.com/itemdetails.aspx?s=602101
