Great Britain, Scott #3908 (Stanley Gibbons #4283)(Michel #4482IC)(Yvert and Tellier #4894), used (o), 2019, Non-Value Indicated (NVI) 2nd class mail (not guaranteed next day delivery) at a counter issue price of (61 pence), Christmas Issue, the stamps of this Christmas series shows scenes from the Biblical story of the birth of Jesus; designed by the Charles Smith Design of London, and illustrated by paper-cut artists Hari and Deepti, working from Mumbai, India; the paper-cut illustrations provide a three-dimensional feel to the images on the stamps; each stamp shows the Star of Bethlehem shining over a scene based on a Biblical account of the Nativity; each scene in shown in the shades of a single color, this stamp shows the Angel Gabriel delivering the message to a Shepherd who is minding his sheep, in the shade of dark blue, serpentine die simulated perforations 14½x15, issued in non-water soluble self- adhesive panes, one center band phosphorus, photogravure printed by International Security Printers, Limited, released November 5th, 2019, Scott 2022 catalog value: $1.25, nicely centered (superb), light, horizontal, tightly spaced, black-inked wavy line cancel over the front of the stamp, good perforations, stamp was lifted from its mailing envelope using a Bestine solvent and placed on a piece of black card stock for an attractive and uniform album appearance; centering and mounting warrants a selling price premium. This is not a 'bait-and-switch;' the stamp you see will be the one you receive.

If you are ordering from the United States, there is only a $US0.68 added postage expense. Also, if you make additional purchases from my offerings, they can all go in one mailing at no extra shipping expense for the added purchases. I will send the purchase by US first class mail, since the relatively low value of the stamp does not warrant signature or tracking mail. Hence the buyer assumes risk of loss or non-delivery. I will keep a scan of my mailing to verify that the correct mailing address was used. If not satisfied, return the stamp to me at your own expense, and I will refund the cost, but not my postage to you. If the stamp is not as described, I will refund the cost and reimburse you for postage both ways.
